This is better described as a bed & breakfast and not a hotel. It is designed to give the lodger a unique insight into Cambodian lifestyle and culture through interaction with other guests, staff and the on-site owners. It is run by an American husband and wife team who also run a tour centre under the same name. A stay here is recommended for high spirited people with a passion for adventurous travel. (DL09/04) Tucked away down a narrow unpaved road just off the main airport road. It is a mere 10 minutes driving distance to the city centre and a similar distance to the Angkor temple complex. A two storey house made from concrete and painted in an enchanting combination of yellow and brown. At the front there is a large drive for easy parking of vehicles and at the back is a beautiful hand crafted garden with a pond. There is no lobby as such but a common lounge area just as you entre from the main front door. Apart from breakfast which is included all other meals taken are charged as extra and cannot be reserved in advance. Meals are taken in the main lounge area in a communal fashion. Each room is air-conditioned and have ensuite bathrooms with hot water.
