Though a bit old, this hotel has good location for guests. It has an adjacent shopping center called Pasaraya Grande - which features the largest handicraft display and selection in Indonesia, plus a great variety of entertaiment such as luxurious cineplex, 30 bowling alleys & the largest fitness center in Indonesia as well as wide range of restaurants. (CB 10/10/2006) Hotel Ambhara is located in the heart of South Jakarta at Kebayoran close to major shopping center and the central business district with easy access to the Airport roads. High rise building. Lobby is medium in size. Main restaurant is located at lobby level. A la carte menu offering both international favourites and Indonesian specialties. Daily Buffet for Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Tea and Dinner. Rooms are a bit tired but offers complete facility. Normal room features 25 TV channel, 2 telephone sets (bed room & bathroom), coffee/tea making facilities, mini bar, compendium, writing desk, bath room amenities and hairdryer, bathroom with bath tub, internet available (chargeable) and private safety box.
