These basic rooms offer easy access for the city centre and are very good value for money. (BL 03/2006) Located in Headingley, the lively student area of Leeds, this property is actually part of the University halls of Residence left vacant by the students over the summer period. The Lupton Apartments as they are locally known, are situated on Alma Road in Headingley, behind the Arndale Centre and just off Otley Road. For those travelling to the accommodation by bus, Bus; The number 1 and the number 95 service leave every 10 minutes from Infirmary street on City Square, close to the rail station - ask the driver for the Arndale Centre. Modern in design, these building were erected in the early 1980's and are 3 storeys high. There is a small reception area where keys can be collected and this is manned 24 hours a day. There is no restaurant. Breakfast is served on a tray as room service and can be collected at check in. Rooms are all for single occupancy (with 1 single bed). They are all basically furnished with a desk and wardrobe. All rooms are part of 5/6 room flats, with a communal kitchen and communal shower and toilet facilities. Rooms are suited for the budget traveller and students. They are also ideal for hen and stag parties.
