It is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED to book SINGLE ROOMS in this centrally located budget property. There are a limited number of twins, whilst there are a huge number of singles available! This property offers fantastic value for money. (BL 04/2005) Ideally located in the heart of the Quayside, just a 5 minute walk from the shopping district. Surrounded by lively bars, clubs and restaurants, the Bigg Market is very nearby. A fantastic central location! A Victorian building. The reception is small and welcoming and operates 24 hours. There is no restaurant at all; breakfast comes as a tray and as room service. This tray is provided on check in. Rooms are small in size and despite their good condition, are very basically furnished. All have shared bathroom facilities. The flats are part of the University of Northumbria's halls of residence, which are used as a budget hotel in the Summer months.
